Summit Chalet -Hot Tub- Theater- Resort Pool- Pet Friendly

We had a party of 16 people ranging from age 2 to the upper 80's. We had good room for everyone and we had a very good time. The kitchen is well equipped and the main living space is spacious. There were some area that we feel could use improvement: - Most felt the beds were not very comfortable. It would be a big improvement if some of the double beds were at least queen size. There is room in most of the rooms to do that. - It was quite cold in the lower level rooms. Don't know the solution, but maybe heaters or more blankets. - While we did eventually get hot water, it took a very long time in some of the rooms. - The driveway is a real challenge with multiple cars. - By the last two days, the trash cans were full. Don't know when they get emptied, but it wasn't in the week we were there. One other thing that would have been nice to know is how many bears were coming to the property. We had our two year old and her parents on the deck the first night eating when all of a sudden a mother bear and two cubs came up out of the woods.Everyone got to safety, but we had bears every single day we were there, sometimes more than once. I know you can't do anything about that, but more warning to be on the lookout would have been helpful. We've had cabins in the area many times through the years and had never seen that many in all those times.

We have a great time. The rooms were great for our family reunion. The grandkids enjoyed the theater room when they weren't out sight seeing. Sitting on deck early in the morning was relaxing. Thanks for the great time.

The host wasVery easy to work with. I felt very comfortable asking any questions about the house and any instructions. I’m a Grandma with 3 adult children and grands. The house was very accommodating for 3 generations to enjoy !!Loved all the extra bathrooms for teenage girls!!!!
