Coastal Collective- 2 Beach Homes | Private Pool | Walk to Beach

Upon our arrival, we were arrived to learn that there were only 4 parking spots and not 5 as the listing stated. All four trash cans for the unit were full and overflowing. We entered the gate to the property and it did not look nearly as clean and kept as the pictures showed. The pool had was dirty, the lawn had cigarette butts and marijuana roaches spread throughout, and trash in the over grown area around the patio. Some of the patio chairs were rusted and unable to be used. A table on the patio was not usable until we purchased tools to fix it. The hose was broken so we had to purchase one of those as well. Unit A-Marijuana blunts left on the patios, the toaster was broken with wires hanging out, A night stand was broken with a drawer out. Fixtures and vents were hanging loose from the walls/ceilings. Unit B-Cigars left on the patios; rug and floors were dirty with no vacuum to use. The tubs did not have stoppers. We purchased two because we had little ones that needed a baths. The bedding in one of the third floor bedrooms had smears of a brown substance (wasn’t stained) so it had to be stripped and washed prior to using. A dresser in the upstairs closet had a broken drawer. There was what appeared to splattered spots of dried blood on several of the stairs leading to the kitchen area. Right in the middle of our first sunny day, the pool guy showed up unexpectedly to clean the pool and required everyone out for over a hour. This occurred again later in the week. And finally, at the start of our trip I had shared the check out requirements I received via email with my family members. After everyone had left, I was conducting the final walk throughs and opened the check list I had received via text the night before our departure and learned that there was a difference between the two. The text thread that I had not sent to everyone also had an added line to empty and remove all trash. The property set up was perfect for a large family vacation and the communication with Evergreen was excellent. The property is in need of some maintenance/cleaning and the listing needs to be updated/corrected. I am hoping that this review will assist Evergreen since they recently purchased the property.

We went for a friends 40th birthday with a group of 14 of us and had the best time! Quick walk to the beach and the pool was absolutely perfect! Very responsive and helpful owners as well. Overall, everything was great and I highly recommend!
